As fall draws near, home owners who are selling their house can keep their listing looking fresh through fall staging techniques.

Home Staging Tips for Autumn:

Lawn Care: Be sure to water and trim as needed. As long as the ground remains unfrozen, a regular lawn care routine should be exercised. Fallen leaves block the view of landscaped areas, so move them to a compositing collection site.
Garden: Dead or dying flowers should be cut back or pulled out. Brown stems causes your yard to look drab. Add life through color by planting cool weather blooms such as mums.
Holiday Decor: Halloween decorations should be limited and tasteful. Placing too many holiday decorations of any sort is distracting to buyers.
Update Photos: Keep the exterior photo of your home current. Out-of-season outside pictures have a dated image that buyers tend to bypass.
